Tilla relies almost entirely for its income on grants from national and international donors but to become more independent, Tilla wants to concentrate on local donors and income generating activities.

'Friends of Tilla' is a way of becoming more independent from international budgets.
This is a way of increasing the sustainability of the organisation.

Organisations in - and around Awassa have the opportunity to become a friend of Tilla. Friends of Tilla will donate a certan amount of money each month.
