Tilla Association of Women Living with HIV has started in April 2002 by five determined and committed HIV positive women. There are now 350 members, with 21 staffs and the association works with all stakeholders. Currently, Tilla is implementing 6 projects.

Tilla is a community based association which aims to reduce and mitigate the impact of HIV and AIDS on women, strengthening their coping mechanisms to HIV and AIDS. Tilla works mainly in Awassa City, Alaba special Woreda, Sidama, Wolayta, Gedio, and Kembata-Timbaro Zones of the Southern Region (SNNPR).
